% 09.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them, which led to registration of the present FIR No. 70/2017 under Sections 323/354(A)/354(B)/354 IPC at Police Station Amar Colony, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Prem Prakash Singh, P.S. Amar Colony. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that she has no objection

in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the fact that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours and have settled their disputes amicably and that respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.

70/2017 under Sections 323/354(A)/354(B)/354 IPC registered at Police Station Amar Colony, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
