This is a joint application filed by the parties under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period of four months. The learned counsel for the parties state that although the prayer made is to extend the time upto 01.07.2018, given the current stage of the proceedings,

it would be apposite if the time is extended for a further period up till 31.08.2018. The learned counsel for the parties also state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of examination of witnesses and the delay in proceedings is not attributable to the Arbitral Tribunal. 5.

In view of the same, the present application is allowed and the time for making the award is extended till 31.08.2018. VIBHU BAKHRU, J MAY 02, 2018 MK
