The present petition under Sections 2(b) and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers:- "a) punish the contemnor for his contemptuous act of willful disobedience of their own undertaking dated 08.01.2014 as well as the order dated 08.01.2014 passed by this Hon'ble Court in CS (OS) No. 1981/2011;

b) punitive cost of litigation may be imposed against the contemnor and in favour of the petitioner;

c) pass such other and further order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

"SI Amit Dutt appears from PS Lajpat Nagar and has handed over a report on the bailable warrants issued. As per the report, the respondent could not be traced at the given address. Petition is pending since the year 2014 awaiting service. It cannot be allowed to be adjourned from time to time indefinitely, unless, the petitioner equally makes efforts for tracing the respondent and furnish fresh and the correct address. Petition is therefore, adjourned sine die, to be revived, as and when, the petitioner finds fresh and the correct address of the petitioner. It is however, made clear that the warrants issued shall remain open to be executed by the police for the respondent being produced before the Court."

The matter was listed in view of the directions issued by the Hon'ble Case Flow Management Committee of this Court on 19.02.2026, and accordingly, Court notice was issued to the petitioner, and the same stood served.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner today. 6.

The present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution and disposed of accordingly.
