O R D E R

% 02.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6 are known to each other being residents of same village. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 159/2016 under Sections 452/323/506/34 IPC registered at police station Sarita Vihar, on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Court, New Delhi on 12th January, 2018, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings may be quashed. Respondent nos. 2 to 6 are present in Court and have been identified SI Nagender Nagar of police station Sarita Vihar. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners before the Mediation Centre of

their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 6 are also on record at pages 64 to 73. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6 voluntarily, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
