This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator by a further period of 6 months for making and publishing of the final Award.

Ms. Bhasin, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the delay is caused due to the demise of respondent No.3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Maru, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the LRs of respondent No. 4 and confirms the position.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 7.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 8.

The period from 01.10.2025 till today stands regularised. 9.
