O R D E R

Appellant Insurance Company has filed an Appeal for reduction of compensation. The matter has been mutually settled between the parties wherein in addition to 70% of the awarded amount along with proportionate interest deposited by the Insurance Company in the bank, the Insurance Company has agreed to pay additional 30% of the awarded amount along with the proportionate interest amounting to Rs.7,16,000/-. 70% of the awarded amount along with the accrued interest shall be released in terms of the award of the Tribunal. 2.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the Insurance Company shall deposit Rs.7,16,000/- within four weeks before the Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee (DHCLSC)

failing which it shall carry interest @ 7.5% on the delayed deposit. Out of Rs.7,16,000/-, 50% of the said amount shall be released by the DHCLSC in favour of the respondents-claimants and the balance amount shall be released in terms of the award. The DHCLSC shall release the above-mentioned amount in favour of the respondentsclaimants as per the aforesaid directions subject to fulfilment of requisite formalities.

The Registrar General shall release the statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- along with interest, if any, to the Insurance Company. Consequently, the appeal stands disposed of accordingly. 4.
