Present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to the respondent to grant parole for a month. Status report not filed.

The only grievance of the petitioner is that representation made by him to the competent authority seeking parole has not been decided.

Learned Additional Standing counsel on instructions informs that the representation of the petitioner shall be disposed of on merits within two weeks.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner on merits within two weeks.
