The petitioner has challenged the eviction proceedings initiated by the respondent in respect of quarter No. Z-473, Timarpur, New Delhi. 2.

Learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that the Estate Officer has passed an order dated 14th March 2018 under Section 5(1) of Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 against which the petitioner has remedy of appeal before a District Judge under Section 5(1) of Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 within 12 days. Copy of the order dated 14th March 2018 is handed over to the petitioner.

Since the petitioner has a remedy of appeal against the order dated

14th March 2018, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal under Section 9 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 in accordance with law. The pending application is disposed of. 4.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under signature of Court Master.
