The writ petition was disposed of on 23.02.2018 on account of settlement between the parties.

Pursuant to the settlement, the payment of Rs.3,25,000/- was made to the respondent/workman by the petitioner/management by way of two Demand Drafts of Rs.1,25,000/- and Rs.2,00,000/-. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 29.05.2014, the amount deposited by the petitioner is still lying with the Registry of the Court. Since the matter has been settled with the respondent, the amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court, be released to the applicant/petitioner along with accrued interest thereon.
