The petitioner has filed the present application under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the arbitral award be extended for a further period of six months. The petitioner states that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of evidence and could not be completed for due to non-availability of rooms at the Delhi International Arbitration Centre.

In view of the above, the present application is allowed and the time for making the arbitral award is extended for a further period of six months from today.
