% 30.01.2025 The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "(a) Issue Writ of mandamus/ order/ direction to the Respondent no. 1 NBEMS to allow the Petitioner to appear in Final Examination of DNB Broad Speciality (admission batch 2022) to be scheduled in June 2025 by extending the cut-off date for training completion by dated 28.02.2026. (b) Pass such other order(s) as this Hon‟ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences in its affidavit has stated as under:-

9. That as far as the contents of Para Nos. 7 to 9 of the Writ Petition are concerned, the contents of the same are denied to the extent that they do not form the part of the record. 2025 session. It is pertinent to note that it was already mentioned in the notice that "The above schedules are purely tentative. The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins of respective examinations/NBEMS website".

It is further submitted by the Respondent- NBEMS that the Information Bulletin has not yet been published by the Respondent. The final cut-off date will be published in the information bulletin „considering the joining date of the candidates and guidelines of the Respondent- NBEMS". The petitioner states that in terms of the counter affidavit filed by the respondent, he does not want to pursue the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
