This is a petition seeking interim bail for a period of 90 days on account of the cataract surgery of the father of the petitioner/applicant. 2.

The factum of the cataract surgery has been verified. However, there is no date fixed.

The petitioner is facing trial for offences punishable under Section 302/307/201/120B/34 of IPC and has been in custody for a period of 6 years 2 months 21 days as on 17.12.2024.

The petitioner has been granted interim bail 7 times and out of the 7 times, on 2 times, the petitioner has surrendered late. 5.

However, since the petitioner has been granted interim bail on 7 earlier occasions and has complied with the terms of the interim bail, I am inclined to allow the petition.

The petitioner is granted interim bail on the following terms and conditions for a period of 10 days from the date of his release to make arrangements for the cataract surgery of his father:- The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. (a) The petitioner shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Trial Court; (b) The petitioner shall provide his mobile number to the concerned IO, which shall be kept in working condition and switched on at all times. The petitioner shall also provide his permanent residential address and in case of change of residential address or contact details, the petitioner shall promptly inform the same to the concerned IO as well as to the concerned Court; (c) The petitioner shall surrender after the expiry of 10 days; (d) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the concerned Court during the bail period and surrender his passport, if any, at the time of release before the concerned Court;

(e) The petitioner shall not directly/indirectly try to get in touch with any prosecution witnesses or the family of the victim or tamper with the evidence.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.
