This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR no.658/2014 registered at PS Subzi Mandi, Delhi under Sections 468/471/34 IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 20th August 2022, arrived at with the facilitation of the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioners and respondent no. 2 (son of deceased complainant) are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the respective counsels. 3.

The parties have undertaken to be bound by terms of settlement. 4.

This FIR was registered originally on account of a property dispute between family members on complaint of Mr. Madan Lal, who has since passed away. 5.

conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR no.658/2014 registered at PS Subzi Mandi, Delhi under Sections 468/471/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications are disposed of as infructuous.
