The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of twelve (12) months. 2.
It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final hearing and are likely to be concluded shortly.

Counsel for the respondent does not oppose the present petition. 4.
In view of the above, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a further period of twelve (12) months.

It is further submitted that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal had otherwise expired on 18th September, 2025.
