The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents no.1, 2 and 3 to take appropriate action for removal/demolition of unauthorised construction carried out by the respondent no. 4 up to the 8th floor at Khasra No. 27/327/8/1, Street No.10, Sangam Vihar, Jharoda Majra, Burari, North Delhi - 110084 (hereinafter 'subject property') and subsequently seal the same.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD, wherein it is stated that a demolition order against the subject property has been passed on 2nd January, 2026. The demolition action was fixed on 17th W.P.(C) 17759/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. February, 2026, but could not be carried out on the said date due to the nonavailability of Police force. Subsequently, the same was fixed for 13th May, 2026.

Counsel appearing for the respondent no.1/MCD submits that the demolition action was taken on 13th May, 2026 and portion on the sixth floor of the subject property has been demolished.

Counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the aforesaid action taken by MCD.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of as satisfied.
