This petition is filed seeking directions to the respondent to pay the arrears of the pay of the petitioner due consequent to the promotion from thte post of Assistant Professor (Academic Pay Level- 11) to Assistant Professor (Academic Pay level- 12) and from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor.

The grievance is that inspite of repeated requests the needful has not been done by the respondent.

Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal appears for respondent no. 3 on advance notice.

Without commenting upon the merits, this petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file a representation to respondent no. 4 within four weeks from today.

Needless to say that the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail remedies, in accordance with law if aggrieved of the decision.
