The present petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing the denial of permission to enter India. It is submitted that the petitioner became aware of the embargo on his travel to India, when upon arrival at Delhi Airport on 25.10.2025, he was denied entry.

It is submitted that such denial, despite the petitioner holding a valid visa, was effected without any reasoned order or explanation. Left without recourse, the petitioner booked an emergency flight to Bangkok, Thailand, where he is presently residing in a hotel.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that the petitioner has made representations to the concerned authorities / Foreigners Regional The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Registration Office (FRRO), copies of which have been filed as Annexures P-21 and P-24 to the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that on a previous occasion, the petitioner overstayed in India beyond the maximum permissible period in terms of the visa granted to the petitioner. However, it is submitted that the petitioner has paid the requisite penalty and is willing to abide by such conditions as may be imposed by the respondents as a precondition for the petitioner's travel to India. 7.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned officials in the FRRO to consider and take a decision on the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, inter-alia, taking into account the averments made in the present petition. 8.

Let the requisite decisions be taken as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three weeks from today, under intimation to the petitioner.
