% 15.05.2017 1.
This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.107/2014 under Section 363 IPC registered at PS Mehrauli. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably and the petitioner and Respondent No.2 are living together in the matrimonial home for the last about four years 2.
Respondent No.2 is present before the Court with her father/complainant. They are identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from them whether the matter has been settled with the CRL.M.C. 1445/2016
petitioner amicably without fear and pressure. They have stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure and respondent No.2 is living happily in the matrimonial home for the last about four years after the two performed marriage. 3.
The petition is supported by the affidavit of the parties. 4.
Since the matter has been settled between the parties and the complainant is residing with the petitioner in the matrimonial home for the last about four years, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Section 363 IPC. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to maintain their matrimonial relations, FIR No.107/2014 under Section 363 IPC registered at PS Mehrauli and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 5.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
