After some arguments, Mr. M. Sufian Siddiqui, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that he will not press the present petition any further in case direction is given to the police to treat the same as representation and decide the same in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v Govt. of UP & The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the limited relief articulated by Mr. Siddiqui, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents shall treat the present petition as representation and the same may be disposed of by way of a speaking order within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law. 4.

At this stage, Mr. Siddiqui urges the Court that a direction may also be given to the respondents to preserve the complete CCTV footages (both audio and video) of all surveillance cameras installed within and around Police Station Mandawali Fazalpur, District East for the critical time span between 09:00 am to 11:00 PM on 07.11.2025.

In response, Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC, on instructions, submits that he has no objection in case such a direction is given. 6.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to preserve the complete CCTV footages (both audio and video) of all surveillance cameras installed within the Police Station Mandawali Fazalpur, District East for the time span between 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM on 07.11.2025. 7.

The present petition alongwith the pending application stands disposed of in the above terms.
