The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 805/2024 registered under Sections 318(5)/317(2)/316(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 ('BNS') registered at P.S Karol Bagh. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that in compliance of order dated 16.12.2024 the Petitioner has duly joined and cooperated in the investigation.

He states that the Petitioner has in fact also arrived at a written settlement with the complainant, wherein the Complainant has agreed not to press any charges against the Petitioner. He states that the fact of the settlement is duly acknowledged at paragraph no. 5 of the status report dated 20.01.2025.

Investigating Officer ('IO') states that no further custodial interrogation of the Petitioner is required.

This Court has perused the contents of the status report dated 20.01.2025 and the submissions of the Petitioner are duly borne out from the said status report.

Further, in view of the statement of the IO, the present petition is disposed of and the Petitioner herein is granted anticipatory bail. Consequently, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, and further subject to the condition that the petitioner shall continue its cooperation in investigation and would not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
