Learned counsel for respondent appears on advance notice and on instructions, submits that the respondent have initiated steps for the purposes of implementation of directions contained in judgment dated 08.10.2024 passed by learned Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 4703/2015. 2.
As per the directions contained therein, the petitioner herein is to be reinstated in service with all consequential benefits and retrospective seniority as well as the promotion, if any, has to be also given to the petitioner, at par with his batch mates along with 75% back wages within a period six weeks from the date of such order. 3.
Learned counsel for respondent further submits that as per the instructions, since they have already initiated requisite steps and are not CONT.CAS(C) 1980/2024 1 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. challenging the above said order, it will be ensured that the above said directions are complied within four weeks from today. 4.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in view of the above, at the moment, he does not press his contempt petition but if nothing happens despite the expiry of the aforesaid period as undertaken today, the petitioner be permitted to revive the present proceedings. 6.
Petition is, accordingly, disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
