These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of cross FIRs being FIR no. 287/2022, P.S. Hari Nagar under Sections 354(A)/506/509/34 IPC The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and FIR No. 351/2022, registered at P.S. Hari Nagar under Sections 354/354B/506/509/34 IPC, basis settlement arrived at between the parties dated 5th October 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.

These cross FIRs inter se between the parties arose out of a dispute relating to vacation of property, of which Jatin Arora is the landlord, and father of complainant/respondent no.2 in CRL.M.C. 9874/2024, is the tenant.

Petitioners and respondents / complainants in both these matters are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the respective counsels and it is submitted by complainants in both these matters, that they have no objection to quashing of the aforesaid FIRs.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of these cross FIRs as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petitions are allowed. Consequently, FIR no. 287/2022, P.S. Hari Nagar under Sections 354(A)/506/509/34 IPC and FIR No. 351/2022, registered at P.S.

Hari Nagar under Sections 354/354B/506/509/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of. Pending applications (if any), are disposed of as infructuous.
