The present application is filed seeking extension of interim bail for a period of 90 days in FIR No. 167/2022 dated 09.06.2022, registered at Police Station Rajinder Nagar for offences under Sections 397/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the ground that medical treatment of the minor child of the applicant is undergoing.

The applicant was granted interim bail by this Court vide order dated 13.05.2025 for a period of two months on account of the minor child of the applicant requiring urgent medical attention as he was suffering from T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The applicant was further granted extension of interim bail by this Court vide order dated 25.09.2025 for a period of two months as her child was in intensive phase of chemotherapy. 4.

It is stated that the medical treatment of the child of the applicant is still undergoing.

The medical condition of the child of the applicant does not seem to be temporary, the treatment for which may go on forever.

Undisputedly, the relief of interim bail cannot be given for an endless period of time. The accused persons can apply for regular bail for getting the relief during the pendency of trial, however, the interim bail by its very nature is for a limited period and cannot be an indirect way of securing regular bail. 7.

Thus, purely on humanitarian grounds, the interim bail granted to the applicant by this Court by order dated 13.05.2025 in BAIL APPLN. 1653/2025 is extended for a period of four weeks, on the same terms and conditions as imposed therein. 8.

The applicant is directed to surrender on or before 25.12.2025.
