This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking parole on the ground that his marriage is fixed for 22nd April, 2016 with Ms.Shimpa Singh.

Status report has been filed by the State.

In the status report, it is mentioned as under:- Enquiry officer visited the given address of the petitioner Angal Singh i.e. VPO-Mundara, PS Kaptanganj, Distt. Kushi Nagar, U.P. On the above address Sh.Birender Singh (uncle of petitioner) S/o Sh.Tirthram Singh and Smt.Sunita Devi (Aunt of petitioner) W/o Sh.Birender Singh met and on enquiry, it was revealed that marriage of the Angad Singh was fixed with Ms.Shimpa Singh D/o Sh.Chander Bhan Singh R/o Chengvana, Post Ahirouli, PS Kasma, Distt.Kushi Nagar, U.P. on 22.04.16. Sh.Chander Bhan Singh and his daughter Ms.Shimpa Singh had refused to marry with Angad Singh. No marriage is scheduled between petitioner Angad Singh and Ms.Shimpa Singh. In this regard, statements of witnesses as well as Pradhan of Village have also been recorded.

It is further submitted that enquiry officer has also visited the addres of Ms.Shimpa Singh D/o Sh.Chander Bhan R/o Village Chegvana, Post Ahiroula (Kasma), Distt.Kushi Nagar, U.P. Sh.Chander Bhan Singh S/o Sh.Ramnarayan Singh. He narrated that no engagement/marriage of his daughter Ms.Shimpa Singh with Angad Singh was fixed. He further stated his daughter has gone to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In this regard, his statement was also recorded.'

In the view of the above status report, the prayer of the petitioner seeking parole is rejected.

Writ petition is dismissed.

The petitioner be informed through the concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
