The petitioner, who is the accused in the proceedings arising out of FIR No. 970/2015, dated 05.09.2015 under Sections 409/468/471/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Hauz Khas, Delhi, has filed this petition seeking quashing of the FIR and the consequential proceedings, on the ground of a mediated settlement dated 29.03.2025.

After some hearing, Mr. Jalaj Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this petition without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties before the learned Trial Court. 3.

withdrawn in view of the aforesaid settlement arrived at. He submits that the petitioner be given liberty to seek remedy of revision once again. 4.
As far as this aspect is concerned, the petitioner may file a fresh petition for revision before the learned Sessions Court, alongwith an application for condonation of delay, which the learned Sessions Court may consider in accordance with law, including on the aspect of delay. 5.
It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations with regard to maintainability or merits of the proposed revision petition, which is for the learned Sessions Court to consider in accordance with law.

The petition, alongwith the pending application, is thus dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
