The petition seeks a direction to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Janakpuri, New Delhi for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No.843/2009 filed by the petitioners.

Though a perusal of the order sheet shows that the petitioners themselves have not been pursuing the complaint diligently and cannot fault the Consumer Forum, but considering that the consumer complaint is more than six years old and is now also stated to be listed on 7th June, 2016, subject to the petitioners being diligent in pursuing the complaint, the President of the said Consumer Forum is requested to dispose of the complaint expeditiously, if possible on 7th June, 2016 when it is stated to be listed itself or soon thereafter. 5.

A copy of this order be given to the counsel for the petitioners. 6.

The petition is disposed of.

No costs.
