The matter is taken up today as 25.11.2025 was declared a holiday on account of 350th Anniversary of "Guru Teg Bahadur's Martyrdom Day". 1.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the fact a food product ordered by him through an e-commerce platform, was found to contain a visible fungal contamination. The petitioner submits that despite promptly informing the platform and raising complaints before the concerned Food Safety Authorities, no effective action has been taken. Hence the present petition has been filed.

In the circumstances, considering the submissions of the respective counsel, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no. 1, 2 and 7 to urgently look into the complaint of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law, under intimation to the petitioner.
