This petition has been listed in view of the order dated 02.12.2025 on which day this Court had passed the following order:- "1. Mr. Ramneek Mishra, Advocate appearing on behalf of Mr. Abhinav Singh, learned Senior Panel Counsel for the respondents seeks eight weeks time to compute the retiral benefits of the petitioner's pension and have them disbursed to him.

3. We see no justification for the request. The petitioner was voluntarily retired from the ITBP as far back as on 1 January 2025. Nearly a year has passed since then. Retiral benefits cannot be held up for such long periods of time as they are the sole source of sustenance for persons who do not have a job.

4. We, therefore, are inclined to grant only three weeks and not a day more for disbursal of the retiral benefits of the petitioner. Failure to compute and pay the retiral benefits within a period of three weeks shall entail penal interest on the retiral benefits at the rate of 12% per annum till the date when the benefits are paid.

5. Re-notify on 8 January 2026 in the Supplementary List." 4.

The learned counsel for the respondent states that the PPO has been issued and follow up action, shall be taken by the concerned unit within three weeks. The submission is taken on record.

The petition is disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioner, in the eventuality, the amount is not paid within three weeks, to revive this writ petition by filing an application.
