O R D E R

% 28.03.2017 In an earlier writ petition [WP(C) 5706/2015], this Court had passed an order on 16.10.2015 expressing the hope that the reference court would dispose of the Section 18 reference as expeditiously as possible. Since that has not happened, the present petition has been filed by the same petitioner requesting that a direction be given to the reference court to dispose of the Section 18 reference within a specified period of time.

We see no difficulty in giving such a direction particularly in view of the fact that over one and a half years have elapsed since we had passed the earlier order dated 16.10.2015.

Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the reference court shall dispose of the said reference within a period of six months from today.
