Though, the matter was not listed initially before the Lok Adalat, but on special mentioning it is so listed.

Learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4 places on record the Vakalatnama in terms of order dated 31.01.2017, which is taken on record. 3.

The matter has been discussed and it has been amicably settled. The appeal is filed by the appellant against an award of ₹5,70,600/- with interest @ 9%pa with effect from the date of filing of the petition till realisation, as awarded by the MACT Court.

An amount ₹2,85,300/- i.e. half of the awarded amount with interest has already been deposited by the Insurance Company with the Registrar General of this Court, which has not been released to the claimants so far. 5.

On instructions the learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4 agrees that the balance half of the awarded amount shall be reduced by ₹70,000/- and the remaining amount of ₹2,15,300/- shall be paid by the appellant to the claimants with interest @9%pa with effect from the date of filing of the petition till realization.

Learned counsel for the appellant has also agreed to the above, as full and final settlement of all claims of the parties against each other. 7.

The cheques of the amount so settled shall be deposited in the name of the Registrar General within a period of four weeks from today i.e. 11.02.2017 to be apportioned in the manner given in the award passed by the learned MACT Court.

Statutory amount deposited by the Insurance Company shall be released as per rules.

The appeal is disposed of.
