By way of this application, the petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with FIR No. 382/2025 dated 24.05.2025, registered at Police Station Vijay Vihar, New Delhi, under Sections 376/323/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012.

I am informed that material witnesses, including the prosecutrix, who is still a minor, have not yet been examined before the Sessions Court, Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, seeks liberty to withdraw this bail application, without prejudice to the petitioner's right to approach the Sessions Court at an appropriate stage.

However, Mr. Singh seeks a direction for expeditious recording of evidence by the Sessions Court. to the Sessions Court, which the Sessions Court is requested to consider in accordance with its Board and the age of the matters pending before it. Mr. Hitesh Vali, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, assures the Court that the prosecution shall also extend its cooperation to ensure expeditious recording of the remaining evidence. 4.

The bail application is disposed of as not pressed, with the above observations.

It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the matter or of any proposed application that the petitioner may make before the Sessions Court, which is for the Sessions Court to consider in accordance with law.
