1. The VATO is present in court today. He assures that the necessary orders will be passed in the case of the Petitioner during the course of the day.

2. It is directed that the refund order be issued within two days and within one week thereafter the refund amount together with interest payable thereon shall be directly deposited in the Petitioner's account.

3. The Court further directs that the DVAT Department will abide by the above timeline. In the event that the Petitioner has any grievance on account of non-payment of the refund amount together with interest as directed, it would be open to them to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
