This is a petition under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of FIR no. 488/2021 registered at PS Dabri under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC as also the charge sheet dated 14.11.2023 pending consideration before the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi. 2.
The petitioners are stated to be the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the complainant. The Ld. Counsel who appears for the petitioner submits that the allegations qua the petitioners are general and vague in nature and therefore, no offence is made out against the present petitioners on the basis of such allegations.

submitting that investigation is complete and charge sheet has already been filed and the case is at the stage of charge. According to her, prima facie there are sufficient incriminating materials on record for attracting the offences under Section 498A/406 IPC against the present petitioners and therefore, petition is liable to be dismissed. 4.
Since the charge sheet has already been filed and the case is at the charge stage before the Ld. Trial Court, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to urge their contentions before the Trial Court at the stage of charge. The rights and contentions of parties are left open. Needless to mention that petitioners would be at liberty to take resort to appropriate legal recourse in respect of any grievance against the order on charge.
