% 18.07.2018 Learned counsel for the parties state in unison that classes are being held regularly in the respondent No.1/Jawaharlal Nehru University with effect from mid May, 2018 itself.
Learned counsel for respondent No.1/University assures this Court that respondent No.1/University will take all steps to ensure that classes are held regularly and all the students, who wish to attend classes, will be permitted to attend the same, without any hindrance or disturbance. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 further assures the Court that the petitioner's prayer for grant of relaxation on the requirement of attendance, will be considered sympathetically by the respondent No.1/University as per its rules and regulations.
In view of the aforesaid assurance given by learned counsel for respondent No.1, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.
