Mr. Umesh Sharma, learned Counsel for the petitioner, restricts his relief to issuance of a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the petitioner's candidature taken by the Standing Screening Committee of the Central Industrial Security Force within the time fixed by the Court.

Issue notice, returnable forthwith. Notice is accepted by Mr. Mukul Singh on behalf of the respondents.

With consent of parties, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to ensure that the Standing Screening KUMAR 20:02:47 W.P.(C) 17995/2025

Committee of the CISF takes a decision on the petitioner's candidature within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

We make it clear that the Committee should consider the grounds urged in the present writ petition as well while taking a decision. The decision, as and when taken, be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

Should the petitioner continue to remain aggrieved, his rights in law would remain reserved.

The petition is disposed of.
