This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- "i. Quash and set aside the impugned order/communication dated 21.11.2025 of respondents barring the petitioner to take part in the counselling for PG 2025 in perpetuity as PRIORITY III Candidates;

ii. Issue an appropriate order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to take part in the counselling for PG 2025 as PRIORITY III Candidates;

iii. to issue writ order or direction in the nature of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

mandamus to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to join the institute allotted in the counselling for PG 2025 if any;

iv. grant ad interim permission to petitioner to take part in the Counselling of PG 2025 as PRIORITY III Candidate which is scheduled from 2nd December;

v. to quash the discriminatory provisions of AFMS bulletin which discriminates and differentiate the in-service candidates of the armed forces and para-military forces; vi. to issue any other writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble court may deem fit, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case..."

Pursuant to the interim Order dated 22.01.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner has been allotted a seat in MS (Ophthalmology) at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune.

In this view of the matter, the substantial prayer of the petitioner stands redressed.

Mr. Anurag, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not press the other prayer clauses of the petition. 5.

The communication handed over today, is taken on record. 6.

The Order passed in the present petition shall not be treated as precedent and has been passed in view of the peculiar facts of the present case.

The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms, along with pending applications, if any.
