Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 B.N.S.S. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking expeditious disposal of the trial of SC No.79/2017 arising out of FIR No.0244/2016 under Sections 376/506 IPC and Sections 4/9 POCSO Act, registered at PS: Naraina, Delhi.

Learned ASC for the State appears on advance Notice. 3.
It is submitted that the Petitioner is a resident of Orissa, who had been serving in Indian Army and has been put under suspension on account of present FIR. He is facing trial since 2017, but the same is yet not been concluded. Prayer is therefore, made that directions be given for expeditious conclusion of trial.

Learned ASC, on instructions from IO, submits that only two I.Os. remained to be examined.

Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances as pointed out by learned counsel for the Petitioner and also the stage of trial, it is directed that learned Trial Court shall make an endeavour to conclude the trial within The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
