O R D E R

% 19.02.2025 CRL.M.(BAIL) 358/2025 By way of the present application filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioner/applicant seeks extension of interim bail granted to him vide order dated 20.01.2025.

The interim bail was granted on the ground that the petitioner's wife required to undergo surgery.

The petitioner is supposed to surrender on 21.02.2025. 4.

The petitioner has appended with the present application a copy of his wife's discharge summary dated 05.02.2025, which records that she has undergone heart surgery on 01.02.2025; and has been discharged on 05.02.2025.

Mr. Mohd. Suza Faisal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws attention to prescription dated 13.02.2025, where the doctors have advised to the wife bed rest for 01 month with 'light duties'. Counsel submits, that there is no one in the family to look after the wife; and until the wife is able to manage the affairs of the household, he be granted extension of interim bail.

Mr. Tarang Srivastva, learned APP appears on behalf of the State on advance copy; accepts notice; and leaves it to the court to pass appropriate orders.

Considering the circumstances of the case, the application is allowed extending the interim bail, granted to the petitioner vide order dated 20.01.2025, by another 02 weeks subject to the same conditions as were imposed earlier.

10. Application stands disposed-of.
