% 14.03.2017 Present contempt petition has been alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 31st August, 2016 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 4268/2016, whereby the counsel for the respondent-SDMC made a statement that all further action in terms of demolition order would be taken in accordance with law and shall be implemented in true letter and spirit. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite the aforesaid order, respondent has not taken any action against the illegal and unauthorised construction in property bearing no. HR-6/2, Sharma Market, Pul Pahladpur, New Delhi.
Learned counsel for the respondent states that ATMCD vide order dated 31st January, 2017 has stayed the demolition of the property in question. A copy of the order dated 31st January, 2017 handed over by
learned counsel for respondent is taken on record. Consequently, present contempt petition and application are disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to appear before the ATMCD and apprise the Tribunal of all the relevant facts.
Since a number of petitions have been filed in this Court alleging large scale unauthorised construction in Pul Pahladpur area, this Court directs the ATMCD to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible. MANMOHAN, J MARCH 14, 2017 rn
