This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondent No.

to pass speaking order/directions/guidelines on this writ petition specially on para JJ and e-mail dated 25th June, 2024."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks a limited relief for a direction to Respondent No. 1/DoE to decide the representation of the Petitioner dated 25.06.2024 with respect to the maintenance of common seniority list by the Society.

Ms Latika Choudhury, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No.1/DoE.

At this stage, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that this writ petition be treated as a representation as certain legal issues have been raised in the writ petition.

Without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to Respondent No. 1 to treat this writ petition as a representation and look into the grievances of the Petitioner. 9.

Once a decision is taken, a reasoned and speaking order shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from today which will be communicated to the Petitioner Association which will be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedies in case of any surviving grievances.
