CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 09.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent No.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka on 27th April, 2017, therefore, FIR No.294/2011 under sections 420/406/506/468/471/174A/120B IPC registered at police station Dabri may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Devender of police station Dabri. He admits having settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He further submits that he has received the entire settled amount and has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful

purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J APRIL 09, 2018 sm
