Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt against the respondent (Election Commission of India) for wilful and deliberate non-compliance of the specific directions given by learned Coordinate Bench of this Court on 15.03.2024 in W.P.(C) 3680/2024. 2.
As per the above said order, the writ petition was disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation before the Election Commission of India and such Commission was also requested to consider the same as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law.

The grievance raised in the present petition is limited to the effect that a representation in this regard was made to the Election Commission of India on 15.03.2024 which has still not been decided. 4.

Learned counsel for Election Commission of India appears on advance notice and submits that the representation has already been received from the side of the petitioner and there is a direction to him to appear for personal hearing in the Secretariat of the Commission on 24th instant. A copy of the communication has also been shown. During course of the hearing, a copy thereof was also supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the above said, he does not press his contempt petition at the moment. 7.
The present contempt petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed.
