% 08.05.2018 1.

Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.330/2015 under Sections 354A/323/506/34 IPC, Police Station Sangam Vihar. 2.

Parties are related to each other and the subject dispute occurred on account of some monetary transactions and the complaints were registered. 3.

Parties have settled their disputes before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi, on 06.06.2017. It is informed that the cross-FIR being FIR No.331/2015 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC has also been compounded as the offence in the said FIR was compoundable. 4.

The Settlement records that the dispute occurred on the spur of the moment and now the parties have agreed to amicably settle their disputes with a view to restore peace and harmony between them. The petitioners have also regretted their conduct.

5.

Respondent Nos.2 to 4 are present in Court in person are also represented by counsel and identified by the Investigating Officer. They CRL.M.C.1635/2018

confirm that they have arrived at a Settlement with a view to maintain peace and harmony between them and further submit that they do not wish to press their complaint any further.

6.

The petitioners are also present in person in Court. They have regretted their conduct.

7.

In view of the above and keeping in view of the fact that the parties have resolved their dispute with a view to restore peace and harmony between them and a Settlement has been arrived at between the parties before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi, on 06.06.2017 and the cross-FIR being FIR No.331/2015 has also been compounded and further they do not wish to press charges against each other, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

8.

Accordingly, FIR No.330/2015 under Sections 354A/323/506/34 IPC, Police Station Sangam Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.
