O R D E R

The present petition filed by the petitioner raises a grievance that the petitioner has not been considered for allotment of chamber in the Karkardooma Court, Delhi.

Numerous representations in this regard are stated to have been made by the petitioner. One of the representations dated 12.01.2024 has been filed as Annexure P-5 of the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also draws attention to order/judgment dated 20.12.2022 passed in W.P.(C) 11092/2022 in which this Court inter alia directed as under:- "12. In these facts and circumstances, the present writ petitions are disposed of with the direction to the Chamber Allotment Committee of Karkardooma Court Complex to not disturb the inter-se seniority of the members who were originally part of the list of 113 persons drawn in September, 2009. If any persons are to be added to the said seniority list, based upon the eligibility, the said seniority list shall be drawn up The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. without disturbing the original list of 113 members, in terms of the direction given in paragraph 10 above.

It is made clear that upon the drawing of the list by the Chamber Allotment Committee, if the Petitioners or any other members have any grievance, they are permitted to make a representation before the Building Maintenance and Construction Committee (Karkardooma Court Complex), of the Delhi High Court, which would consider the said representation. The decision taken by the Building Maintenance and Construction Committee (Karkardooma Court Complex), Delhi High Court, shall be adhered to by all the parties concerned." 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the directions contained in the said order, the Chamber Allotment Committee of Karkardooma Court Complex has not taken any decision with regard to allotment of chambers; the petitioner's representation has also not even been responded to.

After some hearing, with the consent of respective counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the Chamber Allotment Committee of Karkardooma Court Complex to act in consonance with the aforesaid order/judgment dated 20.12.2022 passed in W.P.(C) 11092/2022 and also take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2024.

Let the same be done within a period of three months from today. 7.
