The Petitioner states that he is registered as pharmacist with the Respondent since 21st September, 1981. His registration has been renewed from time to time. However, no action has been taken by the Respondent on his last request for renewal made on 13th March, 2024 along with deposit of the renewal fee. On 22nd July, 2024, the Petitioner issued a legal notice seeking to renew his registration, but to no avail. 2.

Considering the foregoing, since considerable time has lapsed and there is no decision rendered on the Petitioner's request, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent to take a decision on the Petitioner's last request for renewal submitted on 13th March, 2024 within a period of four weeks from today.
