Petitioner seeks directions for the time bound disposal of the case title Shivraj Singh vs Preeti Jain & Ors in CS No. 11970/2016 pending before the Court of learned Additional District Judge, Tis Hazari Court since 2014. 2.
Petitioner is stated to be the defendant in the Civil Suit filed by the respondent. Previously also a similar petition was filed bearing CM (M) 1128/2022 wherein this Court issued directions to the learned Additional District Judge not to grant unnecessary adjournments in the suit and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

Without knowing the status of board of the learned Trial Court, it may not be possible to grant any time bound direction. However, the previous order dated 19.10.2022 passed in CM (M) 1128/2022 is being reiterated with the direction that the learned Trial Court shall not grant any unnecessary adjournments and make all endeavors to expeditiously dispose of the case. 4.
Learned counsel for the parties are also requested to render their due assistance and co-operation to the learned Trial Court in the expeditious disposal of the case.
