The present petition is assailing the inaction of respondent No. 1, the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, in processing several IEPF-5 claims identified through their respective Service Request Numbers (SRNs) filed by the petitioner for transmission of shares and unpaid dividends.

The instant matter pertains to 19 SRNs. It is submitted that some of the claims have already been processed and the corresponding shares/dividends have been transferred to the petitioner, while two SRNs are presently under consideration by respondent No. 1. Further, the claims in respect of two SRNs have been rejected.

In view of the aforesaid, since most of the shares have been transferred, nothing more remains to be adjudicated. 5.
