O R D E R

% 20.08.2018 It is submitted that petitioner no. 2 is mother-in-law; whereas petitioner nos. 1 and 3 are sisters-in-law of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel. She has been identified by SI Nitin Nandani of police station Pahar Ganj. She submits that with the intervention of their family members matter has been amicably settled between her and petitioners, therefore, she does not wish to pursue the FIR No. 251/2014 under Sections 342/323/312/34/498A IPC registered at police station Pahar Ganj any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
