This writ petition makes a grievance that contrary to the Standing Orders and the applicable rules of the Delhi Police, air conditioners are being installed by police officials in the police stations.

This writ petition rests on a response to a query raised by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act. 3.
It is trite that in case a person is aggrieved by a response under the Right to Information Act given by the authority, he has a right to follow the statutory remedy of appeal. 4.
With regard to the other grievance regarding violation of the Standing Orders, we are of the view that this aspect deserves to be pg. 1 of 2
considered by the respondents and appropriate action be taken. 5.
In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the same as a representation and a view be taken thereon within a period of three months from today.
