This order shall dispose of the three connected Writ Petitions in the present matter.

Aggrieved by the order dated 12.08.2025 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
('Tribunal'), the Petitioners have now invoked this court's jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for quashing of the aforesaid order.

In order to comprehend the issues involved in the present case, relevant facts, in brief, are required to be noticed. 4.
The Petitioners aspire to be appointed to the post of Administrative Assistant 'A' (English Typing). For the same, they participated in the two tier examination held in the year 2023. Tier-I consisted of written exam, which was held in the month of March, 2023. The Petitioners were shortlisted for Tier-II examination, which comprised of Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable.

In this case, the typing test was held in the month of July, 2023 and the Petitioners appeared for the same. Before the date of examination, the Respondents published instructions and laid down the criteria for the test, which was as given under: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Based on those instructions, the candidates, who fulfilled the criteria of typing at a speed not less than 35 words per minute (WPM) and committed minimum mistakes were selected. 7.
The Petitioners filed O.As before the Tribunal and reply to the same was filed by the Respondent. Ultimately, the O.As got dismissed.

Learned counsel representing the Petitioners has submitted that the Respondents did not lay down the criteria for holding the skill test. He further submits that 10% mistakes of the total words typed were to be ignored, however, only 2% were ignored.

This Court has considered the rival submission and it is evident that the Respondents selected the candidates who committed the minimum number of mistakes and the meritorious ones got selected. Hence, this Court finds no ground to interfere. 10.
